1. Delivery Methods

Willit is a local marketplace where the primary delivery method is local pickup.

Local Pickup (Primary)

All products are primarily picked up in person. Once the order is confirmed and paid, the buyer and seller agree on the pickup time and location through preselected options or our built-in chat function.

  • Pickup can be arranged at the seller's door, a marketplace, or another agreed location
  • The seller is responsible for storing and maintaining product quality until pickup
  • Products stay fresh and you save on delivery costs

Postal Delivery (Optional, Seller-Specific)

Some sellers have the option to ship products. This depends on the seller's own settings and the product's suitability for shipping.

  • Shipping costs are displayed at checkout
  • The seller is responsible for proper packaging of the product
  • Delivery time depends on the chosen shipping method and carrier

2. Delivery Times and Fees

Local Pickup

  • No additional fees for pickup
  • Pickup time is agreed between buyer and seller
  • We recommend agreeing on pickup as soon as possible after ordering to ensure freshness

Postal Delivery (if available)

  • Delivery time: typically 1-5 business days depending on shipping method
  • Delivery costs are shown at checkout before payment
  • Delivery costs vary depending on product weight, size, and destination

3. Consumer Right of Withdrawal

According to the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) distance selling rules, consumers have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days.

Limitations to the Right of Withdrawal:

The following products are not covered by the right of withdrawal:

  • Fresh products and other quickly perishable foods
  • Products manufactured according to consumer specifications or clearly personal needs

Exercising the Right of Withdrawal:

  • Contact the seller via the chat function or email hello@willit.fi
  • Provide the order number and reason for withdrawal
  • Withdrawal must be made before the agreed pickup time or receipt of the product

Return Costs:

  • If withdrawal is made before pickup time is agreed: no costs
  • If withdrawal is made more than 2 hours before agreed pickup: no costs
  • If withdrawal is made less than 2 hours before agreed pickup: no refund (seller has already reserved the product)

4. Return and Refund Policy

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method.

Full Refund:

  • Seller does not show up at agreed pickup
  • Product is not available at pickup
  • Product has significant defects at pickup
  • Withdrawal is made more than 2 hours before agreed pickup

Partial Refund (Negotiable):

  • Minor quality deviation that parties agree on a discount for
  • Deviation in quantity or weight (refund for the difference)

No Refund:

  • Buyer does not show up at agreed pickup
  • Buyer cancels less than 2 hours before agreed pickup
  • Fresh products without quality defects

Quality Issues:

  • If the product does not match the description at pickup, you can refuse pickup (full refund)
  • Complaint after pickup: make within 24 hours, attach photo and explanation
  • We handle each case individually

5. Business-to-Business (B2B)

If you sell to or buy from businesses, KKV consumer protection rules do not apply directly.

With business customers:

  • Trade terms are agreed case by case
  • Right of withdrawal and return policies are defined in the contract
  • Complaints are handled according to commercial law

We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours on business days.
