2. Payment Process

Buyer's Payment:

Payment is made at checkout via Paytrail. Payment is debited immediately upon order confirmation.

All prices include value added tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.

Escrow System:

After payment is received, the amount is held in escrow until:

  • Buyer confirms product pickup or receipt, OR
  • 24 hours have passed since the agreed pickup time without a complaint

This protects both buyer and seller.

3. Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc (Business ID 2122839-7) operates in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions.

Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant.

Paytrail Plc is an authorized payment institution.

For complaints, please first contact the product seller.

4. Payment Security

All payment transactions are handled securely via Paytrail.

Security Measures:

  • SSL-encrypted connection for all payment transactions
  • PCI DSS certified payment service
  • Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) according to EU Payment Services Directive
  • Card details are not stored on Willit servers

Paytrail is a payment institution supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.

5. Seller Payouts

Registered Businesses (Business ID):

Payments are transferred to the seller's bank account the next business day after pickup is confirmed. Willit retains a service fee on successful transactions.

Private Sellers (Everyman's Rights):

Willit pays sales directly to private sellers after successful pickup. Payment is made the next business day to the seller's specified bank account.

Individuals can sell berries and mushrooms collected under everyman's rights without a business ID.

Service Fee:

Willit retains a service fee on successful transactions. The service fee is shown to the seller in the order details.

6. Complaints and Problem Situations

Payment-Related Problems:

If your payment fails or you encounter problems in the payment process, contact:

Order Problems:

If you don't receive the product or encounter problems with the order:

  • First contact the seller via the chat function
  • If the matter is not resolved, contact Willit customer service

Refund Processing:

  • Refunds are always returned to the original payment method
  • Processing time: typically 3-5 business days
  • Card payment refunds may take longer depending on bank processing time
